Oxana Holtmann - Founder

Born in a Siberian city Novosibirsk, Oxana Holtmann got her B.A. from her hometown university, and her Masters in Chinese studies from The Moscow State University. Oxana made the transition from languages to film in 2005 by taking a Sony PD170 to East Africa to videotape the story of the fastest growing microfinance bank in Kenya. Oxana's next several African projects were produced in close cooperation with MicroSave, Kenya. She built Moving Planet Films into a full service video production company with a wide range of clients. Oxana is a member of the Television, Internet and Video Association of DC, Women in Film and Video of Washington, DC, and the DC Podcaster Alliance.
